Official Construction Update Thread

Drove by the IPF today. That thing is massive. They are hanging the huge assed duct work. Since I was driving by I could only glance at it and the other facilities but, as everyone says, to see it in person is much more impressive than seeing pictures of it.

Truth. I go by it everyday on the way to and from work and it still impresses me each time. Between the size and the speed with which they've built it, it really is quite the project.
 
They're finally starting on the roofing in the terrace area. Curious to see if they get this done by Saturday now that we're 65 hours or so away from kickoff.

The terrace is supposed to be open 2 hours before kickoff, so they only have 48 hours to get it done.
 
Has anyone heard anything about the rooftop terrace? From looking at the live cam, I can't imaging it's going to be open and ready for business in 16 hours or so.
 
Tickets for rooftop terrace are sold out for the game tomorrow so it would be highly desirable for it to be done. As of this afternoon it was not yet done.
 
Is it a good place to watch the game from or do you just do the pregame and halftime up there?

Don't think it's anything more than a pregame pit stop,and don't think it's worth the $10 cover charge.Limited/no seating and paltry food selections...Hope it improves as the year goes on.

I think it only got opened for Saturday because RG forced the issue despite it not being totally ready.
 
there were people up there the whole game so it must've been decent. Balch was a mess at halftime yet the plaza outside was nearly empty. they still need to work on smoothing out the flows in each area.
