We are playing Oregon State this week

I don't take anything for granted, but this is a senior and junior heavy team that has gone through some real bad times and are so hungry for wins; any wins. They will take no game for granted, plus it will pretty much be a full house. Check out cubuffs.com and try to buy tickets. Student section is sold out. Virtually all the upper cheap seats are sold out. The expensive seats on the home side are sold out. I've got my tickets. Should be a fun game. Gotta start early to get your alcohol on, though.
FYI the student section is always "sold out." It doesn't show up because the general public can't by tickets in the student section.

There will be no player letdown. Nothing that is written on this online forum will affect anything. That being said, the Buffs have covered the Vegas spread every single game this season. If you had cashed out your 401k and borrowed off your mortgage and put it all on the Buffs on legal bets for the first 4 games on prevailing Vegas odds, you would now be rich. The current line against Oregon State is Buffs +18.5, and I think you still take the Buffs. Them sea level boys will get tired.

You're dangerously confident here. If we lose, it's on you.

I will take take the blame if CU loses. But seriously, you have a really motivated, experienced, and relatively healthy CU team that is at the cusp of the top 25 against a traveling low-elevation team that did better than expected by "only" losing to Boise at home by 14. OK.

This is just one giant goocher post. I'll blame you for any injuries as well.

are we worried about the team not respecting the beavers or are we worried about the fan base putting the beavers behind them already?

i have found that concentrating on the beaver at hand is generally best practice for the beaver's antagonist, so to speak. but, mere commentators on the quality of the beaver encounter rarely have to worry about performance anxiety.

Do all fan bases work this much innuendo into the commentary during OSU week, or are we just special?

And I'm not sure the last time the student section was truly "Sold Out", but it hasn't been anytime since I've been a student here (Mac era). ASU game in 2012 might have been close but I wasn't there.

Dear Coach Schek,

Sadly, I'm a fan who won't be able to make it to this week's game, but I desparately want to help. I don't own any white Buff gear - but have a nice long-sleeve Tommy Bahama button down. If I do that, what color shorts do I wear? Flip-flops or Sperrys? Plus, I'm really worried about white after Labor Day if it's not sports related. What else can I do to help the team, or at least avoid hexing their winning ways.

Sincerely,
The Ogre

P.S. Last week I drank non-Colorado beer during the game because it was a last minute thing. Should I do that again?

P.S.S. What do those fruit references ^^^ mean?

Don't lose this for us!

Real question should be "what does PS stand for?"

Nothing good happens when you put beaver on a pedestal.

Post statement. Was that a sarcastic or rhetorical question?
Some like it spit roasted, though.
Close enough I guess (postscript), was making fun of your PSS, figured you didn't know because PSS makes zero sense (try PPS). You're welcome.
