Yes. I think the home team has to allow it, though. For instance, it's not like CU could wear silver jerseys at Washington State.

They have 4 black jerseys left in the graphic, and 4 more home games
Not regular season, but there are 3 games that weren't accounted for when the graphic was released.

Sorry if this has been discussed a lot before... ...but can someone explain to me why we never wear gold helmets anymore? Did something happen with Nike? I loved our gold helmets and would love for them to come back. In fact, I hate the white helmets - the black on them looks sort of brown and reminds me of Wyoming. I'm not a big fan of the grey helmets. I do like the black helmets, but what about the gold helmets?

Gold helmets for 6/12 regular season games this season. I'm with you. I think that should be bumped to 8. 2 black, 1 silver, 1 white is enough mixing that up.
If it makes you feel better, the Raiders, being the home team, would always wear black jerseys when they played in the Coliseum.
After the spring game I don't think gold and silver should ever be used together again. Those things were horrible.
Wasn't there so couldn't say. just liked the pics someone photoshopped when the color combos came out last year.
The lighting in these shots added a bit of a gold tint to the silver. I removed it in the G-W-S photo to give a truer look at how truly terrible that would be. I don't think we will ever see it. My guess is that option is not even on the table for the players when they pick the combos before the season.
I didn't remove the gold lighting tint in the G-S-S shot so it seems to go together a bit better here than I think it actually would.
