15 years ago today.

The Chris Brown 6 TD effort kind of overshadows other individual efforts during that game. Not until watching that do you remember just what kind of day Purify and Graham had.

The one thing about that day that kept pissing me off and still pisses me off was all the red in the stadium. Freaking everywhere.

You kidding? Compared to the previous five games at Folsom, there was very little red in the stadium that day. They had the visitor sections and some red up in the 200s, but much less than usual. It was a very different feeling. They tried to start their ****ing Go Big Red chant that in years past would have echoed throughout, but we drowned it out immediately with noise. I felt confident we would win before the game started because of the buzz in the stadium.

Re-watch the first half highlights. Lots of red even in the student section. After the half the red had greatly decreased for some odd reason.

The day I became a Buff fan. I was in early high school but thinking where I might want to go to college. Was beginning to consider somewhere away and near mountains, had thought perhaps Colorado. Aunt and uncle, who lived in Colorado, were in town for Thanksgiving and put the game on. I asked who we were watching. Instant fandom.

The feelings that I have experienced this season are delightfully reminiscent of that run we made in 2001. An Epic game that I am grateful to have been in attendance for. Pure, utter joy that afternoon.

A friend of mine (who did not attend nebraska, natch) apparently put this sticker on his wife's minivan. She parked at 5:30 AM a bit too close to the line. Then this happened. She's 7 months pregnant.

Obviously whomever did this is a buffs fan. I refrained from comment, but I still think it was glorious:
