Scott Frost to Nebraska is pretty much at 99% and everyone is hoping that they leave him alone to play the AAC Championship game and then to see what happens on Sunday with the CFP Rankings and Bowls. After those boys celebrate an amazing season, he will likely have a team meeting to tell them that he is going home to Nebraska. Strong rumor that I am hearing is that Troy Walters will be interim coach for the bowl game, with the intention that he be named the permanent head coach, which he is probably ready for. The only good thing that can happen is that everyone realizes that Nebraska has a weak roster, no QB's that perfectly fit Frosts system, and a pathetic Defense. I wish Frost well, but I want to see Nebraska suck for 2018 and 2019!!!
 
Soooo, there's an fan reVOLt in Knockedupsville as UT has unsuccessfully courted every living coach (and perhaps a few dead ones).

There's a bon fire in College Station - without wood or any other physically combustible item - as the level of fan disbelief reaches epic proportions.

This is so much better than mid-week tv.
 
So Tennessee has been liked to and turned down by Gruden, Kelly, Frost, Mullen, Cutcliffe, and Gundy. Anybody else I’m missing? Stoops has been mentioned, but I don’t know if he was ever really considered. What “big time” program has been turned down by that many coaches?

Their fanbase seems to want Lane back for some reason.

Maybe they should give people what they want and make their ringleader Travis the new AD and rid us of that clown once and for all.
 
I would just like to applaud HC Mike Gundy for parlaying his six hour visit with Tennessee in Dallas into $42 million.

Tennessee are currently the on tilt rich suckers in a poker game. All the pros are gonna take their shot at them to score bigger deals at home. Then they will hire a meh coach whom they’ll have to pay $30 million because everyone else ravaged them.
