Official Game Thread: COLORADO @ Nebraska --- 9/8 @ 1:30

We're not tough enough to stop what's about to happen.

Still time. We have our time outs.

And **** all y'all that went into crying hysterics in the second quarter.

We never ever come back for road wins.

Hallelujah! Pennies from heaven right there!

Reading thru the game log while riding home from Stinkoln... These are some of my favorite quotes..

There was a lot of gutsy play out there today. Plenty to work on but showed a lot of heart. Nubs are better than most are crediting them for and I knew Martinez would impress.

Team battled thru a lot today. Got some breaks but if we don't keep fighting, they don't matter.

Great W!

Damn straight. Folks who questioned his scholarship need to step up and eat some crow. He's been a very good player for CU who just made big plays in a huge win.

The scholarship was never about Jay and always about Mike. If you have a chance to get any competitive advantage, you take it.

I’m the master of the reverse jinx.

I’ll be honest... I couldn’t watch after te Buffs went 3 & out for the third time in a row in the 2nd quarter. I was having heart issues. I “watched” this thread to see how the game turned out.

They have a lot to be positive about if you ask me. Frost is a good coach.

They are actually pretty happy about the loss considering where they came from. Very few giving the Buffs credit though, they still think they are an 8 win team.

that kid is good, and he's got some maulers in front of him. that was a ****ing quality win for our Buffs.

oh, and DIE FUSKER DIE. that can't be said enough.
Have you had the opportunity to try Wyoming whiskey bourbon yet? It is now my new favorite.

I can never root for the Nubs to win, but it would really piss me off if Martinez missed the rest of the season, they got rolled the rest of the year, and everyone forgot that we had to play that guy for 56+ minutes.

At the end of half time, Huard and the other guy were discussing how the Buffs could possibly hang on and were speculating that the fuskers would blow us out in the second half. That opening drive of the half to kick the FG was really huge. We regained our confidence at that point and stopped the fusker momentum.

And the defense delivered a 3 and out.
