OSU game fallout thread

We need a real RB badly. The Online is bad but the running is worse. It's like the RBs are blind. Also, I don't think Montez even makes reads on option plays. Wtf?

4 for 17 (23.5%) combined on 3rd/4th downs on offense. That's at home against the ****tiest team in the conference. Pa****ingthetic.

Culture goes back to one person-Mike MacIntyre.
When they showed him on the sidelines looking at his phone, it was right in the middle of either their last drive to tie it in regulation or take the lead in OT. My first reaction was “yeah his Twitter is blowing up but man, I’d like to see him talking to his defense, yelling from the sidelines, something to help get their minds right ...” But maybe in this day and age, kids are so locked into their phones, that’s just how it is. Struck me as a bad look tho ...

You gotta call Jeff Tedford-dude took Fresno from worst to first in the MW west in a year, and they're going to probably win 10 more games this year.

holy **** he's only 56? I just assumed he was like 70 at least. That dude is not aging well.

I gotta say at face value I wasn't excited, but damn he has put some work in at Fresno. Took over a 1 win team in 2015, goes 10-4 in 2016, and this year is looking prime for at least double digits.

MOD EDIT: USE THIS THREAD FOR YOUR POST GAME DISCUSSION, PLEASE. THERE'S NO NEED FOR EVERYONE TO OPEN HIS OWN THREAD

And I've lived through Embree Hawkins and now MM.

HC, DC, and OC pathetic.

#moneygang now broke. Worst secondary play I've seen since espyisland. MM a DB whisperer though
The worst from today was seeing Shenault sitting on the bench on his phone during overtime. ZERO leaderships skills, totally selfish attitude. Where are the coaches.

I agree very selfish, not a team player in it for himself ONLY. Where are the coaches teaching him how to be a teammate?

This was all on MM. All. Of. It.

Buffs score to go up 31-3 and he told them to take the foot off of the gas.
OSU starts getting momentum and he keeps the offense on run only.
OSU gets to 17 and he keeps the offense run only.
OSU gets within ****ing 3 points!!! And he keeps the clamps on the offense to run out the ****ing clock!
Ballgame.
The offense was fine when it was allowed to attack. His dumb ass didn’t want to “run up the score” and lost a game that CU was winning in blowout fashion.
I’ve never been too critical of him because he did a great rebuild, but today was 100% ineptitude and completely on him. I honestly think this team won’t win another game this year. Bowl drought continues.
**** MM. He let his whole team down.

I can't get over the fact that it was halftime adjustments by Brian Lindgren that ended up steamrolling the defense today.

Tells me that the problem wasn't Lindgren, just as the problem under Hawkins was never Helfrich.

I think everyone assumed (including myself) Lindgren left because he was pushed out and was given the opportunity to land somewhere without getting fired. This makes you wonder if Lindgren was happy to leave MM micromanaging him into the ground and making him call ultra conservative. I still think Lindgren sucks and needed to go, but this storyline and our performance since makes a guy wonder.

This is the kind of loss that makes you wonder if Mike MacIntyre is the right coach for this team moving forward.

Nah. I’ve been asking that since middle of the 2017 season and the Utah loss to finish the year was it for me. Today was just an extension of last year. A team is the reflection of the HC and this team is soft, doughy, emotional in a negative way, and did I say soft?

Afraid we are stuck with HCMM for about 10 million reasons. I think RG should essentially neuter him and let the assistants know he is a figure head only. HCMM will not influence hiring/firing. Give Eliot complete control of the defense and Chiv control of the offense. Gives them an opportunity to showcase their stuff without micromanagement. We’d know who should stay at the end of the year.

Mac can spend more time crying on the sideline more when Jay plays well and yell at the refs like a old man yelling at clouds.

I’m pretty sure I’d like to throw something.

I want a coach who will give one of those pressers after a bad loss that goes like "We stunk. I stunk. Coaches stunk. Players stunk. I thought we were ready to play. I was wrong. Players think they're better than they are. We're going back to work and this week is going to determine who wants to be a winner and who needs to see the door."

I want a coach who will never put us in this position again. It is a dream, though. We are doomed to mediocrity.

Some accountability would be refreshing.

Beta males don’t use these words.

That comes next week.

We'll definitely see how bad this hurt. How they respond won't take very long to see. It'll look like the second half from the get go.

also, how come asu can win against sc at the coliseum whereas we always pretty much have no shot at them no matter how bad they might be?

SC was playing their 3rd string QB today and they were missing their best player at all 3 levels of their defense.
