Utah game thread. SNOW GAME!!

They offensive play calling the second half of the season has me shaking my head. Chev has gone so damned conservative. It’s so frustrating to watch.

When your boss tells you to sit on the 7-0 lead that’s what you do

You gotta be kidding me! Take a knee!!!!!
seriously, guy has his head on the line and he goes for knees. same time, i actually think we have a chance today. offense is staying on the field a little bit against strong defense despite crap play calling...we may get lucky here

The field is slippery. Throw passes in the 7 to 15 yard range that force the db to cut the ball. Heck, mix in the TE once in a while. Deep balls don't work when your QB drops back, rolls left, and then holds the ball too long every play. Montez is NOT helping his receivers.

Wait. If your just going to kneel on it, why take the timeout??

because, you wait and see about field position after the punt. utah got off a good punt. CU has the ball to start the 2nd half and they didn't have field position after that punt. that actually wasn't a bad set of decisions, given the score and the field conditions.

Montez is not a good QB. Tell me I'm wrong.

No. Not gonna do it.

... actually, though, it truly seemed like he was a much better QB at the beginning of the season. Better awareness, better pocket presence, better decision-making, more accurate, and thus, more confident. He looked to me like a legitimate NFL prospect, and now he looks like he wouldn't make it in the XFL.
