Gonna snapshot these every week. We only had the advantage on CSU last week. Two more popped up. ASU and Stanford.

I really think we have a good chance at Oregon and at home against SC as well. Utah is the one game I don’t think we can compete in.
We can compete in every game.

What I see happening is we steal one of the first two pac games and lose the other closely. Have some fluke game where we lose and play like **** (probably one of the Arizona games). Beat Stanford. Every other game is a 50/50 dogfight, but with this staff and team, I'm a glass half full kind of 50/50.

Didnt mention csu cause that goes without saying.

I expect both to be losses for us. I think Utah is a tougher team to beat than Oregon after Rising is back.

Oh yeah, I got confused with Texas Tech/Oregon. I think Utah is too strong in the trenches. I did not see the Baylor/Utah game however. What are your thoughts?
I think Baylor sucks, and they should’ve won that game, Utah looked pretty weak. But as mentioned just above this post, it may be a different game with rising is back.

Utah just opened with wins against P5 opponents from FL & TX. Without their QB. I don't care if UF & BU might be a bit down, that's fvcking impressive and Utah will be firmly in the mix to be in the P12CG again this season.

I think it's a good time to bring this thread back up now that the non-conference schedule is over.

Obviously, the team showed some serious deficiencies last night. The lack of run game continuously puts the offense in 3rd and long situations, and the defense has looked vulnerable in 2 out of 3 games. That said, we have top-notch skill position talent on O and an elite QB. IMO that is enough for the Buffs to be a threat in every game they play. You never know when a team like USC or Utah might come in overconfident or sloppy just like the Buffs did last night.

If the Buffs can manage to get 5 wins in the PAC, I will be thrilled. That will put us at 8-4 overall, likely with a couple of ranked wins and a 15-25 ranking ourselves, and headed to a mid-tier bowl game. We have a tough schedule the rest of the way, so anything beyond that would be very impressive.

Whatever happens, this is the first time I've actually had hope going into conference play since 2019, so I'm just enjoying the ride.

I'm looking for that bowl game - so hoping for 3 more wins, but every game on the schedule is winnable. Tough tough schedule, but nothing is out of reach when you have an elite QB
We're going to score points and we're going to force turnovers. That's a winning formula.

This would be a great time to have a bye. Get our **** together and heal up and rest. Its been an emotional and physical 3 weeks. Oh well... just have to buckle up.

Bowl eligibility hinges on the next 2 games. Win at ASU and we most likely carry that into a win at home against Stanford. We then sit at 5-2 with 5 games left to win one. That's playing with house money. And if we need a final win to get to 6 when UofA rolls in for the final home game of the year, we'll destroy them.
