If Cody comes back, how much does it change your expectations & excitement for next season?

I don't think he tanked, but I do think he had people in his ear all last season that were more interested in making sure he didn't do anything to derail their cash cow than him elevating his game or helping the program.

He would be hard to pass up at 17. He has done so little that the bust potential is there but he also has such a huge upside that he could turn a franchise.

Most of the time that late you are looking for a solid bench guy or a role player starter.

Big 12 is going to 20 conference games this upcoming season (up from 18) with maybe no bye weeks during conference play. Cody would be wise to stay in the NBA Draft.

Agreed. Plus, the definite possibility of going 13-19 will be fun for anyone.
