  1. Sniff sniff... Do I smell a rival?

I am in. UCLA's football program is full of a bunch of thugs with entitlement issues. They are as classless as their coach. I love the fact that the buffs just pretty much put the nail in their coffin of bowl hopes. I think this sort of win goes a long way in fueling a rivalry.
  2. Phillip Lindsay

Lindsey has added a new gear. Over the past years he was known for his tenacity as a runner. I never saw him break away like he has this year. Adding the speed he has developed this year to his tenacity makes him truly dangerous.
  3. Week 10 Pac-12 early odds

CU's record vs the spread this year is near perfect.
  4. Official Buffs v USC Score Prediction Thread

Just watched the USC/Utah amd USC/ASU games. I am doubling down on my earlier score predictions. Here are some details: 1. The USC quarterback is good against zone. We don't run a whole lot of zone. Against man coverage he was not nearly as deadly and tended to hold the ball a little bit...
  5. I apologize... It's my fault... CU Football

Listen, I put my money where my mouth was. I bought one of those bricks. It says "This is the Year!" Now I was just predicting the turn around this year but then they went and put it right next to the big national championship brick. I don't know how far this voodoo goes but I think we are...
  6. I am worried

Leavitt also changed up the alignment to take the edge rush out. Slowed the pass rush way down but made it nearly impossible to get the edge. Leavitt is a friggin genius, and our front 3 are total studs to be able to hold up in the middle while he does that.
  7. Sefo Liufau v Steven Montez

I have thought about it a bit and I have come to the conclusion that Sefo will definitely start when he is healthy and he should. Here is why. Itgives Mac the best options going forward. If you let Montez continue to play, he and even the rest of the team will look over his shoulder evry time...
  8. Buffs are 4 point dogs @ USC

I love the fact that they are an underdog. This team has used that motivation to stay focused this whole year. The fact is though that USC beat a team with no defense and their second string QB whio was attrocious. In addition, CU has beat the spead every game this year. Every game. Take...
  9. Time to use and discard the trojans

ASU lost its. Starting qb during the game.
  10. Colorado #21 in AP Poll

They are still going to be an under dog. It will be great motivation for the buffs this week. USC finally beat a team with no defense and a second string qb and they will be favored. The Buffs stay focused and notch another first this week in beating USC and move into the top 20.
  11. Official Buffs v USC Score Prediction Thread

I base my scores on the following: 1. The CU defense is much more like Utah's defense than ASU. 2. The CU offense has shown elite level capabilities against the likes of Michigan. 3. The ASU offense was without their starting qb for most of the game. 4. When they are punched in the mouth USC...
  12. Melt Down in Eugene

Cu during the Hawkins/ Helfrich era were undisciplineD and he could not recruit for crap. Both are coming him to bite him again. He cannot seem to recruit a qb to what has been qb u for so long. Frankly, I hope some recruits are watching the two programs and identifying where they want to go.
  13. Sefo Liufau v Steven Montez

Sefo still reads better. Montez is a better athlete but Sefo is still the better qb and leader. With Sefo's ability to read the defense, I predict we throw 40+ up on USC and 50+ on ASU. Both defenses have some huge holes the Sefo will begetter at exploiting. No kick on Montez, I think we are...
  14. They set out to 'Make CU Great Again' and paved the road to a signature win

Great article. Might need the hiemlich as I am suddenly all choked up
  15. Credit to the Coaches

Leavitt changing the defensive alignment of the olb was genius. It made it very difficult for Oregon to get the edge. Tompkins and Leavitt putting a safety in that spot was a hard call but it paid off big time. The Chev/Lindgren offense attacks what the defense gives them. I love the...
  16. More notes on the Oregon game

The speed sweep was actually stopped through alignment and technique. The outside line backers aligned 3-5 yards outside of the tackles and there first move was a step up field. This blocks the speed sweep and sets the edge. It is now up to you inside to follow the play and clean up the back...
  17. official Buffs v. ducks in-game thread. Go Buffs!

I have yet to see anyone keep up all game with wr's. And I see Awuzie, Thompson, Weatherspoon going toe to toe with the fastest in the country. And strength wise we played with Michigan. The rise is real. Get on the band wagon now.
  18. I'll take my crow bar-b-que'd

All buff supporters are hereby granted a reprieve from all crow eating. Indeed, the band wagon is open to all. Feel free to join in. What we thought might be cool aid may be something else entirely. Let's keep drinking and find out together!
  19. The Bobo Touchdown

I think these pictures are done with a camera which has better light control than the tv cameras.
  20. We are deep at WR

I agree I need to give Ross props. He has corrected his ability to catch over the shoulder. I always thought Bobo had more in him. Awesome to see it coming out. Lastly, these guys all block! A lot of our runs benefit from the great blocking we are seeing.
