  1. Andre Roberson 1 - Internet Geniuses 0

Goes to show that you guys are pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff. You all take one side then act like it's crazy you were all wrong. Why not just admit you nothing about this stuff and try listening to those who do?
  2. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

All those numbers show is he took more mid-range shots.
  3. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

Booker taking open shots, playing tough d, diving for the ball and being a floor leader is great. Booker shooting and missing with 30 seconds left on the shot clock is another thing. There would be times during games when he would be the only one to shoot for 3-5 straight possessions. Often...
  4. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

I am under the impression that you believe he will improve in the areas that were identified as weak parts of his game at least 3 years ago. He came in needing to improve his shot selection and ability to play the point, he has done neither. I don't think Mills is going to gain that magic 30...
  5. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

Three years ago someone wrote he needed to work on playing PG and his shot selection. He hasn't changed that thus far. He plays great in tournaments and has some nice plays each game, but he takes way too many shots and has timely mistakes. He scored 12.4 points on 12.7 shots, many of which...
  6. Andre (Edit: LEAVING FOR NBA)

Well if you didn't say his name and described his game he would sound most like a big guard or small forward. He doesn't box out well, but gets rebounds with his athleticism and instinct, has no legitimate post moves, plays D best on the perimeter where he can poke the ball away or interfere...
  7. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

These are all nice problems to have, I am just glad the days of Mookie Wright are well past us. I hate Booker's game and am about as low on him as I have been since, well, Mookie Wright. In fact I was looking at his recruiting thread the other day and I believe it was you who said he has...
  8. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

I know it sounds like I am down on Hopkins, but I am not. I realize he is one the best recruits in school history and will likely be a major contributor for us one day. I am just looking at the roster, who is coming back, who I think will be improving and what Frosh can fill needs. I think we...
  9. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

Yes you are all correct he can dribble the ball very well. I should have been more clear with my thoughts. I don't see someone who is going to lead an offense as the main ball handler.
  10. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

I am not saying he can't play basketball, he is obviously very athletic and can finish strong around the rim. But when you consider everything there seems to be a shortage of minutes for a guard who can't help with outside shooting or ball handling.
  11. Andre (Edit: LEAVING FOR NBA)

Nah I think I'll just ignore the Mock that is completely wrong about the his position. How can they know where he will be drafted if they don't know his position?
  12. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

Well he's not the highest rated recruit by ESPN, Fletcher is. Fletcher is also the highest on Scout. We need ball handling and shooting. How is Hopkins going to help? He's not our top rated recruit and doesn't help where we need it.
  13. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

Even deep teams have 3 players who tend to play 30 or more per game. Look at Arizona last season.
  14. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

I gave you an example of a deep and talented team, L'ville. What am I suggesting? I am simply looking at what is happening in college basketball everywhere, including CU. Most teams have about 3 players who play more than 30 minutes. Arizona was deep last season, right? Well big shock! 3 players...
  15. Andre (Edit: LEAVING FOR NBA)

Also has him listed as a PF, which he is not.
  16. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

Last season: SD (32.5), Booker (31.8), Roberson (33) - That's 3 players with 30-35 MPG Scott (28), XJ (24), Chen (23) - That's 3 players with 20-25 MPG. Adams (11) is in the 12-15 part, while Eli (9), Shane H-T (8.7), Talton (7) are all in the "at most 15 MPG" category. For comparison, the...
  17. Boyle Named A Court Coach For USA Basketball's World University Games

He will be around great coaches, executives and players too. Tad will be a much better coach after this experience.
  18. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

    [/B] 0-3 1-8 1-3 2-6 0-3 1-2 0-1 1-3 2-4 0-2 4-4 2-5 2-7 1-6 1-5 1-5 2-5 2-8 = 23-80 or 29% Just my math, not scientific.
  19. Now the dust is settled, who will be the redshirts from the 2013 class?

Dinwiddie, XJ, Scott should all play 30-35 MPG. Unless someone else steps up ... Booker, Gordon, and one other player will get 20-25 MPG. No more than 3 other players will get at most 15 MPG. I think the third 20-25 MPG player is Thomas, as he fills multiple needs (size, shooting, attitude)...
  20. Boyle Named A Court Coach For USA Basketball's World University Games

We all know how great Tad is, now it's time for him to get some national and international exposure. http://www.cubuffs.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=600&ATCLID=207662060#.UZKDcAvzpRY.twitter http://www.usabasketball.com/mens/worlduniversity/
