Reported Offers: Northern Colorado

Although Shepherd is in the databases as a Guard, CU is recruiting him as a Center. He has visited practices with his family, is invited to Junior Day, and is invited to CU's Big Man Camp this summer. No CU offer yet, but one could materialize.

*If you follow the Rivals link, they've got video on him.

Attended CU's Junior Day.

I finally found some film on him (LINK), and I've got to say that I'm impressed. He moves very well and I thought his technique was surprisingly good for a high school player. I'd like to see him match up against a higher level of competition and I suspect that's why the CU coaches are wanting him at their Big Man Camp this summer.

Shepherd will be in Boulder for the Buffaloes' Big Man Camp on June 12.

"I went to a CU practice this spring and talked to their offensive line coach (Steve Marshall). They are looking at me as a center," Shepherd said. "He is one of the coaches that said they are interested in seeing me on the field, in person. They want to do that before they make any decision or recruit me more. I understand that because CU is a bigger school."

Most likely a D1 / non-BCS prospect, but it's early. New Mexico and Wyoming are most likely for his signature if CU doesn't step up.
