Okereke has picked up several offers in the last couple weeks, including one from the Buffs. Really good athlete (40 time is accurate) who has been offered as both a TE and OLB. I think he could be an impact player at TE for us.

Good news. If you can't tell, I think Okereke is a really good player.:wink2:

Dude looks like a beast already and nice wheels for his size, especially for a TE. Given how weak our depth chart is at TE he could play immediately.

He has blown up. USC just offered.

Is SC limited to 15 scholarships this year again?

They are hoping for 20 with several early enrollees.

Where did he announce his top-6? Don't suppose you can tell me if Boise State made it in?

I fully expect him to choose either USC or Oregon, but hope springs eternal.

So we were top 3, then he blew up, now we're not in consideration. Sounds about right.

Boise State didn't make the cut either. Northerwestern's Rivals site reported his top 6 yesterday morning. Off the top of my head, it was them, Vandy, Washington, Oregon, and USC but I can't remember the 6th.

Last one was Cal iirc. He's big on academics, hence the inclusion of Vandy and NW.

When you get right down to it, I can never really blame any prospect for choosing Stanford. Big time football program, Pac-12 conference AND Ivy League academics? That would sell me if it was either me or a kid of mine.
