Good shooter, limited athletically. Questions on if he can 100% run a team, but would fit in well in an offense that has numerous people running the show.

purely my own thoughts here, but if we don't get Dorsey, there is some sort of cosmic balancing if Conner transfers here.

Dude scored double figures for KU in the Dance as a true frosh.

I don't want to hear about limitations. This is a player who makes CU better if we can bring him to Boulder.

Not only am I currently salivating over the thought of having sharpshooters like Fortune and Frankamp in the mix next year, I'm also a believer that good shooting is contagious and that those guys will cause other guys to shoot better.

    Be a Buff, Conner.

He will be a RS soph in 2015, and will be eligible starting in January 2016. Fits in REALLY NICELY with the Dom and Tory class. h/t to nik and goose for the eligibility info.

    Mid-year transfer.

He'd be on a campus in January and wouldn't be eligible until the following January.

So he'd basically play 2/3 of next season and then 2 seasons after that.

Is this just our wishful thinking now or there is rumor about us talking to him?

It only broke today that he's transferring but, consider that he was AAU teammates with Dom & Tory & you have some of us salivating.

Doesn't exactly fit Tad's recruiting profile, but he's talked a lot about getting shooters.

Figure Tad might have some connection to make with Conner considering that he had to wait his turn at KU as well. Wichita St probably the favorite though.

    Beaker fans aren't happy.

Numbers back it up. Frankamp had an unreal 5.5% turnover rate last year (although in limited minutes, so grain of salt time). For comparison - Dinwiddie led the Buffs with a 15.6% rate. His shooting percentages didn't meet what expectations were, but that could be because he was just a true frosh. Hard to adjust to the spotlight. I do have concerns about his ability to be a true full time PG (as mentioned above), but in an offense with another PG or a combo guard who could run the show, he could excel.

doesn't really fit the mold of a tad boyle player. Defense leaves A LOT to be desired. I wouldn't really be upset by the move, but where is he going to play? Hard to see him getting minutes over Fortune/Fletcher/Dom imo

Also I have to assume he is looking to transfer somewhere he can get a scholarship for THIS season, not the following one.

Frankamp would be a huge get. Fortune and Frankamp (among others)? We'd arguably be in for our best offense since 2011 if it clicked.

Make it happen, Tad! If the pieces fall right and Tad can get Frankamp, this could be a deadly team in 2015!

Agreed. Also sounds like he may have left to be a PG. Bill Self made it sound like Conner was going to have the shooter's role that we're hoping he could be here. Anyone know who played PG more for KC Pump--Dom or Conner?

Pros= played with Dom/Tory, we need shooters

Cons= Doesn't fit Tad's profile, we may not fit what Conner wants

Actually the team ran a 3 guard offense and travis jorgenson(Georgia tech) ran 80% of the pg duties and then I'd say dom and conner shared the other 20%. They also started Tory and Vance wentz(Montana state). Was a tough group of guys who won a lot of tournaments. Being related to Tory I watched a lot of their games! They actually won the Adidas super 64 their u16 yr in Las Vegas .

Awesome. Thank you. Any thoughts on relationships between conner & tory/dom?

    Nice.

Can't have too many Top 100 prospects and sharpshooters in the program.

So if we land him does that mean we are out of the dorsey sweepstakes?
