If Baer was still here, cynicism would be called for, but I think Leavitt knows what he wants and is on the ball. Applying that logic and looking at his offer list, Akil must be an under the radar kind of recruit, no?

Just went and watched the film. Definitely has a burst and solid speed. When he learns some technique he could be fun to watch. Right now his technique is the same on every play, hit the offensive blocker with his hands, then out athlete him. Didn't see a rip, swim, dig, spin or anything else...yet he still looked really good.
