CU offered about 10 days ago. This one was looking good. I even made him my prediction in the "guess the next commit" thread.

Then Stanford offered. Dream school.

Seems to confirm that it was a 3-team race of Pac-12 schools before the Furd stepped in. Let's hope he decides to leave it open and take some OVs in the fall.

It bears watching since Furd typically turns over about 1/4 of its offer list around the end of the fall semester. For that reason, I never look at a Stanford verbal as a final-final.

Our staff is dropping the ball on OL recruiting. I guess they think the youngsters will be fine and focus more next year?

Herbig says he is still deciding on whether Vanderbilt will receive an official visit in January. Cal, Washington State, Arizona State, Colorado, and a few others have also been recruiting him hard as well.
