CU offered about 10 days ago. This one was looking good. I even made him my prediction in the "guess the next commit" thread.

Then Stanford offered. Dream school.

Here's the new Rivals article: https://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1776570

"I'm going to go home and think about it a lot," Herbig said. "I have a lot to think about. Cal Colorado and Oregon State that are in there, too, because I'm really interested, but I'm tired of the process and the constant messages. I want to focus on the upcoming season.

Seems to confirm that it was a 3-team race of Pac-12 schools before the Furd stepped in. Let's hope he decides to leave it open and take some OVs in the fall.

Stanford.

It bears watching since Furd typically turns over about 1/4 of its offer list around the end of the fall semester. For that reason, I never look at a Stanford verbal as a final-final.

He's already got visits lined up with Cal and Wazzu. Doesn't look to have anything lined up for the weekend of 15 Jan yet though. Get to work, coaches.

Our staff is dropping the ball on OL recruiting. I guess they think the youngsters will be fine and focus more next year?

Hope we get maka at LB because we are very weak st this position.
