Klieman to KSU reminds me somewhat of Tressel to Ohio State. Tressel was winning NCs at Youngstown State before he was called up to Ohio State. And Klieman had to actually recruit kids to a school in North Dakota...I don't know if that is an upgrade over Manhattan.

I guess the Saban rehab program only worked to an extent for BJ. He couldn’t get any better traction for a higher internal position at Bama.

Yeah, he duped TTU on this one. A buddy’s dad is a major TTU booster. They’re fired up about the hire. When I brought up Wells’ inconsistency at Utah State, he said “don’t piss on my fire since I just sent Tech a fat check to fire Kliff!”
