Seaton's media tour is a Prime example of the opportunities kids will get at CU. How many other schools or coaches can make that happen for a high school commitment announcement?
Just casually extolling the virtues of Colorado Football on several major networks. Hopefully Seaton gave Uncle Whit some side eye as he lines up more walk-on scrubs to do hit pieces on Prime.

Connections are the basis for advancement in any field. Traditionally coaches have excellent contacts with their sphere of influence. They can find an athlete an excellent trainer but lack the connections to individuals who build personal brands. Deion owing to his celebrity status taps into areas coaches previously never had influence in. That is the pitch for CU compared to institutions that have greater NIL funds. We cannot offer what those other guys can from a financial perspective but what we can is an environment and connections that allow you to build something potentially greater. From the outside Seaton has an it factor beyond the play on the field that is attractive to brands and the media. Maximizing those advantages and monetizing them for every player like that is what CU needs to learn how to do better than anyone else. Add in the Black empowerment angle and CU can continue to land high profile recruits despite its regional and institutional shortcomings.
