are 16-24, and we want to put them in the top 5???? they may not even end up having a single win over a ranked team this season.
What a useless statistic.
Rankings are pretty meaningless right now - for example, Boise St will be the BCS #1 tonight.
TCU doesn't have half the facilities/funding of LSU. its only loss in the past two seasons is boise. boise has only a handful of losses in the post-hawk and has avenged every single one of them. also has memorable wins. good action game -> good ratings which all the bcs really cares about. whats weird is everyone is banking on the ACC for national championship hopes. if it ACC ends up being FSU vs VT with the winner may give the nod to either Boise/OU as the second spot. also many teams wont sign up against boise and tcu for non conference games. i wonder how boise/tcu opponent record compares to ACC and Big east teams. its not about the secs/big 12/big 10s/pac10s. its really about the acc and big east getting automatic qualifiers when the mwc/wac may be just as talented as them
what is mnc? say boise is undefeated but not ranked #1. if acc championship ends up vtech vs fsu the winner can determine the number 2 seed for bcs championship. a vtech win would make them a top 10 team again and boise can claim they beat acc champs and won the wac.I would be very suprised at this point to see either fsu or vt in the mnc????
yes confusing. who created that logic and argument? my point of boise having half the recruiting advantages was response toi also fail to understand the logic of an argument that goes like this: "because team x has half the funding of team y, team x should be promoted to a national championship game despite less wins against ranked teams and a losing collective opponent record."
Has TCU out-recruited LSU (or even been close to them) once in the last 5 classes? No
boise is going to have to go the road of colorado in the 90s when we wanted to play top ranked competition: we got the home, they got the homes. 2 in exchange for 1. time to put up or shut up and stop making excuses about who won't play them. that sounds nebraska-esque.
what is mnc? say ou loses one game but wins big 12 and boise is undefeated but not ranked #1. if acc championship ends up vtech vs fsu the winner can determine the number 2 seed for bcs championship. a vtech win would make them a top 10 team again and boise can claim they beat acc champs and won the wac.

see boises record post-hawkins.
And didn't I post this in the Pub? If I didn't I appologize. It really should be there, bc it has nothing to do with Colorado football, other than the fact that Colorado had the misfortune of pursuing BSU miserable ex-coach.
