What started as whispers in the crowd early last season, then grew to grumbles, then disenchantment and anger, has now become a Rocky Mountain roar.

Grossnickle as a positive is a major stretch. We're dead last in the Big 12 in net average.

Positive is a relative term. Let's just say it's a special teams highlight.

    True.

But at the Baylor game, he had a 44.5 punting average with 3 punts against Baylor (a team who did not punt the entire game.)

This puts him at the 36th best punter in the country (for this one week - not the season average.)

    Hence the "positive" spin.
