lets hope they overlook us or we're toast.
first purdue, then the Buffs, then ohio state, then florida international.
that's a freaking march thru hades for a small school.
Since when did Florida International become a power house that anyone has to worry about... Other than travel for them that is a very winnable game
they are improving. and their facilities are now first rate (probably better than ours from what i have heard).
and the game is in miami.
that's a pretty macho schedule altogether for a small program. hell, think about if that were CU's out of conference schedule--- lower tier b10 school, middle tier b12 school, upper tier b10 school, and then fiu. we'd be worried.
FIU has some great facilities. Don't count out any of the FLA schools. Look how fast USF became legit.
As far as letdown from CSU, overlook, whatever. These are the things that the 2009 team better not have. Hawk has been coach for enough years to not have any of this crap happen. It is doing just these things, playing to level of compitition etc, that results in CU being under 500 the last two years.
I think we are making a bigger deal out of this then we need to. Buffs by 31.
Looking at CU's performance and record on the road under hawk, I can understand some people's concern with this game.
Agreed, but I think this is truly a new year when it comes to teams of lesser talent. With an emphasis on the running game and the defensive backfield to shut down the passing game and make a team one dimensional on offense we won't have to worry about the less talented teams we will face this year. It's the talented teams we have to worry about. I concede...Buffs by 28..
