Rep will be given to the person that names the first assistant coach to not be affiliated with the team during the offseason (fired, goes to another school, etc).

My guess is for Keisau, just because I believe that he takes the position at Portland St.

Should have specified that Foster and Hawkins dont count since we already knew about them.

It will be between: Hagan (RB), Riddle (ST/TE), Keisau (QB/OC), Denver (OL), Collins (DC), Cabral (LB), Brown (DB), Romeo (DL), Pittman

No love (hate) for Jeff Pitman? I say Pitman. Make it so.

No one is going to be fired. Some may leave on their own accord. Foster has already stated that he is only here for one year, so I don't think that should count.

I don't know who goes, but Pitt needs to go, Johnson needs to go, Riddle needs to go, Hagan maybe needs to go (except he can recruit)

Pitt, Johnson and Romeo NEED to go. It's an absolute necessity. They are horrible, and don't recruit all that well.

    Hagan.

Not because I dislike him or even think he should go, but because he's not a Hawk guy.

Hagan does not appear to be a competent RB coach but his recruiting is top notch.

Nobody is going anywhere. Hawk thinks there doing a great job despite being at the bottom in most stats. Besides, football an d improving it are of no importance to this regime.

I don't know if I can agree with this. He doesn't seem to be a great coach by any stretch, but I think he's perfectly competent. I mean we have a 2* 5'7 170 guy that is pretty good, doesn't Hagan get a little credit for that? There are issues in pass blocking, but I mean guys that size that can block are pretty much limited to MJD and Darren Sproles. He's also the kick return coach where they do a pretty good job as well. He also seems to be our most productive recruiter, I swear the few commitments we do have this year, are guys he is recruiting. I do admit he seems to have screwed the DS situation pretty badly, though.

Ultimately, our production out of the RB position as a whole is pretty sub-par. A whole lot of that falls on the OL, but some of it is the backs too. DS was not handled correctly. Lockridge barely plays - I don't know how responsible Hagan is for that - despite appearing to be extremely explosive. Sumler is what he is.

Rodney is good, but how much of that is due to Hagan? He is pretty much the same player he was when he got here.

Our run game is, statistically, bad, despite having a pretty solid collection of talent there. Frankly, I don't agree with the movement of Polk to safety. RB is simply a more important position than safety in college. That decision hurts more now that DS has left.

As I said, I don't know how much of the personnel decisions are Hagan's. But we need more out of the run game, period.

For the record, I don't have a problem with him staying here.

Doesn't a coach's recruiting ability rely pretty heavily on selling himself as a coach to the kids he is trying to get to come to CU?

I don't have any knowledge of this process, in particular, but that seems like it would make sense to me.

    buh bye Riddle

I also think Hagan will be gone for sure. I recall hearing that Hawk doesn't think that much of him as a coach and on that account Hawk and I actually agree.

Collins must go. I was chatting with a Boise State fan this week. Really insightful conversation. He was very convincing in his opinion that bringing Collins to Boulder had as big of an impact on both of our programs as them being able to keep Petersen. He was saying how Boise had to outscore opponents if they wanted to win back when Collins was there and that it worked against WAC competition but they weren't doing very well against BCS competition. Since Collins left, their defense has been capable of doing what they did to Oregon to open the season. He was very adamant that we had to get rid of Collins. (Riddle he said is a good coach and that he couldn't understand why our special teams had been so bad.)

Hagan may stay by virtue of his history with CU and his personality with donors and alum, and his recruiting. May find a new spot, but he escaped the last purge, he may do it again. I won't object, at least we'll have some continuity.

Riddle and Collins would be enough for me. I would say add Denver Johnson to the list, but I am not sure another new OL coach is going to help much right away. We might just have to live with DJ.

To me the OL has been the most disappointing unit on the team this year. Special Teams have been garbage too, but there was such hype for this talented OL and they have been a sieve. Having said that, if "continuity" is one of the reasons for bringing Hawk back, then I don't see them dumping DJ after one year.

Agree on Riddle and Collins. Some people have called for Bandison to go, but I think the performance of his very young DL this year earns him another year.

Riddle must go, no way around it. Doubt he goes because he's one of Hawk's favorites.

Collins must go, no way around it. Not sure Hawk can make a case for keeping him around.

Johnson must go, no way around it. We were better on OL last year with numerous key injuries.

Brandison should go, improvement this year doesn't make up for 3 previous failures.

Pittman had better go, we might look bigger, but we don't seem to be any stronger. Our speed is a serious issue as well.

Correct. Anytime hawk is asked about changes hawk says" there doing a great job, they really are".

This is why nothing will change next season, they are blind and lay it all on the players. Riddell is by far the worst.

I have a very serious concern that Hawk will probably only change out one, maybe if he has to, two coaches.

Kiesau, he will move on while his reputation is still somewhat intact (ie. Helfrich)

Riddle and Collins should be shown the door, perhaps Kesiau too. I sure wish they would fire the jackass WR coach:smile2:.

With the ideals held by the current clown posse admin, it won't surprise me a bit if no changes are made.
