**** bailer!

I'm starting to think that this whole bailer thing is actually an elaborate plot to make me believe in God.

They sin, they act like pious assholes, and they sin some more. God punishes them like some sort of modern Gomorrah. I'm starting to get some faith. I think a meteor strike would get me back to church, quite honestly.

So who would be a good fit as head coach at bailer? Guys like Petrino with checkered pasts seem to already be coaching. It's going to be hard to find somebody with any kind of desire for long term coaching to take that job. It's an absolute dumpster fire. Do they try to get a current P5 assistant? Is Dykes the only realistic current P5 coach who might take that job?

Dykes tried to leave Cal for Houston a couple years ago (interviewed but didn't get the job). He'd absolutely leave for ****bailer if they want him. And, hey, a 5-7 coach from the AAC just turned them down (SMU), so a 5-7 coach from the Pac-12 is probably looking damn good right now.
 
Yeah. I was thinking their only hope is for Dykes to want out of Cal so bad that he takes the job. He can stay there for 3-4 years and walk away a millionaire.

Otherwise, I think they're good and truly ****ed. Nobody under the age of 60 would touch that job. And the ones over 60 that would take it would know it's their last stop.
