Baylor promises to release 2016 Signees from LOIs (5 players released)

Chev did start following him. But it's clear Stidham likely wants to stay in the Big 12 and close to home because he's avoiding the 2 year transfer rule by going to JUCO. We'll see how it plays out.

Feldman just tweeted out a story saying he would still have to sit out an extra year after the JUCO if he goes to another Big-12 school.

Says he'd lose a year of eligibility but still be able to play after 2016, from what I understand.
However, there is a rule in the Big 12 that if a scholarship player goes to a junior college in between going to another Big 12 school the player will still lose a year of eligibility, meaning he would have to sit a year and forfeit a year. So he would sit 2016 and could only play 2017 and 2018.

But does make it less likely he heads Big 12.

Gotcha, two years is still plenty for a 5* QB like him.

Stidham is not allowed to transfer to another Big 12 program per his release, not sure how a JUCO transfer works into that sort of restriction but seems the Big 12 isn't after him. He is now following Chev but obviously SEC dominates his pursuers. Think he ends up at Auburn or TAMU but an attractive season from us with an open 2017 competition and down years for those train-wrecks and who knows? Hope he takes his time.
