Board of Regents meeting TODAY about moving to Pac-10 in 2011 or 2012 at 5 pm

I like your thinking. Somehow I could see how that would save CU some money.
 
Now that the Nebraska exit deal has been announced, here's what I think happens. I predict that we'll end up paying less than that. I bet it's closer to 5 million. The reasons for this are twofold. First, we don't get as much conference revenue in the first place so there's less to forfeit. Second, we gave TWO years notice and Nebraska only gave one. This puts us in a very good position. We can really screw with the scheduling if we decided to stay around and I think that the Mack will offer some concessions to get us out sooner. The Pac might also help out above and beyond their early promises to avoid being stuck with 11 teams and no CCG in 2011.
