The Colorado Basketball team won their first game of the year today improving to 1-1 with a 91-84 win at Auburn. The game was back and forth, and things looked ugly for the Buffs in the first half, but led by George King and Josh Scott Colorado played a very good final 25 minutes and won an entertaining afternoon contest. Here are BSN Denver’s tweets of the game:

    A little pregame….CLASSICAL MUSIC???? @2bkings Buffs at @AuburnMBB 1 p.m. MT tip on @espn #gobuffs #RollTad pic.twitter.com/SNluDdjdfy

Big game for the Buffs today, a win sets them up and earns them a decent resume road win… a loss and we're in a hole to start the year.

Settled in at Auburn Arena. @CUBuffsMBB taking on Tigers in about 45 mins pic.twitter.com/hLkIN7x13B

Let's go Buff win this auburn game

    — Xavier Johnson (@XtheCreator) November 17, 2015

If Josh Scott plays a game that we're accustomed to seeing from him, Buffs win. Just like last game

    — RalphieReport (@RalphieReport) November 17, 2015

This game is fun to watch.

@Shapalicious Coach Pearl got real comfortable last year around me lol pic.twitter.com/Oxl4HpmvPW

    Play Akyazili ALL THE MINUTES

    — Tyler Ziskin (@TZiskBuff) November 17, 2015

Kareem "Heslip" Canty going off on the Buffs.

    — Ryan Koenigsberg (@RyanKoenigsberg) November 17, 2015

So this Canty kid is good at shooting threes, maybe we should guard him

    — RalphieReport (@RalphieReport) November 17, 2015

    Kareem Canty though.

    — Andrew Dill (@PurpleRocktober) November 17, 2015

George and Josh wanna ball today so far. We gonna see who are dogs out here

    — Xavier Johnson (@XtheCreator) November 17, 2015

Maybe I should have gone to class.

    — Ted Chalfen (@TheGhostofMarv) November 17, 2015

So that's a nice little 30-11 Auburn run.

    — Ted Chalfen (@TheGhostofMarv) November 17, 2015

    Well that escalated quickly.

    — Abbey Shea (@abbeyshea) November 17, 2015

Well, that got out of hand very quickly. #CUBuffs

    — Parker Baruh (@ParkerBaruh) November 17, 2015

Auburn basketball looking good!! War Eagle!!

    — Tyler Ziskin (@TZiskBuff) November 17, 2015

So this George King kid can shoot the rock a little bit. #CUvsAUB

    — Drew Spevak (@DrewSpevak) November 17, 2015

Needed that comeback at the end of the half

    — Xavier Johnson (@XtheCreator) November 17, 2015

Every possession that Scott doesn't touch the ball is a wasted possession

    — JG (@jgisland) November 17, 2015

That man @2bkings brought his hard hat to the game and is working!

    — Beau Gamble (@BeauGamble14) November 17, 2015

How is Colorado winning this game?

    — William Whelan (@William_Whelan) November 17, 2015

George "Heslip" King going off on the Tigers.

    — Ryan Koenigsberg (@RyanKoenigsberg) November 17, 2015

    — C-Unit (@CUnitBuffs) November 17, 2015

It's scary how good this team is if George king plays like this on a regular basis

    — Beau Gamble (@BeauGamble14) November 17, 2015

    This is George King's world.

    — William Whelan (@William_Whelan) November 17, 2015

GEORGE KING AND ONE. WHO IS THIS GUY?

    — Ryan Koenigsberg (@RyanKoenigsberg) November 17, 2015

    GFK

    — JG (@jgisland) November 17, 2015

    Okay, George King is GOAT.

    — Andrew Dill (@PurpleRocktober) November 17, 2015

Buffs have made 19-21 free throws

    — Matan Halzel (@matanhalzel) November 17, 2015

King 22 pts, 6 rebs; Scott 21 pts, 4 rebs.

    — Neill Woelk (@NeillWoelk) November 17, 2015

40 perfect from the field and King got 22..big CU run to make it double digits.. pic.twitter.com/DwldRlFAjA

    — Spencer Dinwiddie (@SDinwiddie_25) November 17, 2015

George King had two double-digit scoring games in his career coming into the year. He has two in his first two games this season.

    — Parker Baruh (@ParkerBaruh) November 17, 2015

Josh and George balling. I see y'all

    — Xavier Johnson (@XtheCreator) November 17, 2015

Only two games in. Small sample size, but pretty obvious Colorado under-valued coming into the season. Buffs no longer have chemistry issues

    — Kyle Ringo (@KyleRingo) November 17, 2015

George King and Josh Scott big offensively. Collier took care of the ball. A lot to like from this #CUBuffs win. Good start 2 the year

    — Drew Spevak (@DrewSpevak) November 17, 2015

That's a very nice road win for the Buffs in what was a fairly hostile environment. Encouraging first two ball games.

    — Patrick Ghidossi (@patrickghidossi) November 17, 2015

Incredible resolve to withstand that first half run… George King is a special talent.

    — Tyler Ziskin (@TZiskBuff) November 17, 2015

In two games against auburn, the Buffs have scored 181 points. That's #good.

    — Nick Tremaroli (@NickTrem_17) November 17, 2015

George King is what happens when you take advantage of a redshirt year.

    — Roy Edwards (@RoyEdwardsCU) November 17, 2015

MF'ing George King is trending on Twitter in Denver… Big road win for #RollTad

    — CUTechBuff (@CUTechBuff) November 17, 2015

    Victory #RollTad

    — AllBuffs (@allbuffs) November 17, 2015

Francis Scott-King: Buffs roster suddenly Star Spangled.

    — Ryan Koenigsberg (@RyanKoenigsberg) November 17, 2015

Great road win for the boys! Like the toughness of this team already.. Big year ahead!! #GoBuffs @CUBuffsMBB
