BOULDER— The University of Colorado volleyball team will hit the road for the next two weekends and will start the road swing in northern California with matches against California and No. 8 Stanford.

The Buffs will face off against Cal on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 8:30 p.m. MT. That match will be televised regionally on the Pac-12 Network. CU will then square off against Stanford on Saturday, Oct. 12 with an 8 p.m. MT start. That match will be streamed live on the Pac-12 Digital Platform.

Colorado is 11-3 overall (3-1 Pac-12) this season and for the first time since 2006, CU has received votes in the AVCA Division I Coaches Poll, which was released on Monday. The Buffs went 2-1 last week, dropping a five-set heartbreaker to Wyoming, before bouncing back to knock off the top-ranked Washington Huskies 3-1. The Buffs kept rolling and also defeated Washington State for its third straight Pac-12 win of the season. They are currently tied for second in the conference standings with Washington and Stanford
