What specifically confuses you?
Attrition is essentially the fact that you will lose some number of players from the moment they sign their LOI. They may not qualify, or could get into trouble, or simply decide to transfer out.
Eh brah, I think you should just browse the forum and add some comments in previously set up threads. At this rate you're about to start a new thread asking about who CU recruited last season...
oh, and google is a good resource, too.
Shorter version: welcome to allbuffs; we are assholes.
Thanks, for welcoming me. I have been reading all the threads religiously for about a year now. I follow our teams as much as anyone else. I just didn't completely understand attrition, and yes I have used google to search it before.
Well, at least you already knew we were assholes. Welcome.
The good news is the one guy who insulted you is also in the islands, so you can track him down and kick his ass! Welcome!
Better we explain it to you than your boss.
Welcome, young islander. A simple way to look at attrition is losing player(s) you didn't expect to lose. Graduation is one thing, and pretty much planned for. When someone fails to qualify it's considered attrition since that person is expected to be part of your roster for the next year. If a player leaves early (transfers, declares for the draft, etc.) it's attrition since they may still have eligibility remaining.
Well then you are ****ing stupid. I just took 2 seconds to google "attrition" and the answer is easily explained in the very first link preview so you don't even have to click on the link to find out the definition. You really couldn't comprehend the definition of a word?
Thanks for being a good Buffs fan, but please don't get into discussions with fans of other teams in your everyday life. You will make us all look bad.
