We have 3 of the seats up for election this year.
At-Large: Stephen Ludwig (D) is term limited and had to retire from the board. This is a win for athletics. While he voted for the Athletic Facilities plan that gave us the IPF, he was also the dissenting opinion about "arms race" who gave negative quotes to all the stories on the project.
Candidates:
Ken Montera (R) - businessperson who doesn't seem to have any positions on athletics. However he has been a major donor to athletics.

Lesley Smith (D) - retired educator and scientist who doesn't seem to have any positions on athletics.

District 3:

Alvin Rivera (D) - retired educator and strong advocate for educational issues. Can't find a position related to athletics.

District 5:
Chance Hill (R) - career military and CIA with law and other degrees with a very "conservative free speech" agenda for the CU system. Can't find anything on athletics.

Tony Wolusky (D) - vet with a PhD in education and JD degree who was an educator at AFA and Metro with an agenda focused on affordable education. Can't find anything on athletics other being a runner (so good for Bolder Boulder at Folsom maybe?).
