College Football News, Rumor & Humor

Really good hire for em ess you.

Probably. He's a very good football coach. The big question is whether it works outside the region he's spent his whole life in. Also, his overall record at OSU would not be acceptable at MSU, so I do question it a bit.

He’s a very strong coach and they have a strong NIL base.

I am wondering if MSU isn't one of those coach killer programs now.

It seems that since D'Antonio "resigned" they have imagined themselves to have a richer history and position that the record would indicate. D'Antonio was there 6 years and the won 1 conference title and his winning percentage was about .625 or roughly 7 games per year. The last coach to win national titles left in the early 70's.

They are a major program but they aren't on the level of Michigan, tOSU, PSU, and arguably they are behind Iowa, Wisconsin, and maybe a couple of others before the new members come in.

It is going to be very hard for any coach to meet their expectations.
