Colorado Beats Washington State, 71-60

In Boulder on January 7th the Buffaloes beat the Cougars, 71-60, in conference action.
Carlon Brown led all scoring for the Buffaloes with 28 points on 56% shooting in 35 minutes, including 18 points coming from beyond the 3-point arc.
A note on this matchup: The RPI ranked Colorado higher, #70 to #142.
Colorado created separation in assists and shooting.

The Buffaloes, with 46% shooting and a solid defense, were too much for the Cougars, who could only muster 36%. Colorado spread the ball around with ease, and its 14 assists gave it an advantage compared to nine from Washington State.
