It was pretty cool. I wanted the Packers to win, but I was hoping that they'd give Mason a chance to make a FG, so it worked out.

Cool as a cucumber, he looked.

You're wrong, but it would take a longer conversation to explain why than I have time for at the moment.

... that was a serious comment, right? Not an attempt at humor?

His kickoffs were short all night. I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not. I'm used to seeing him kick the damn ball out of the endzone so I'm not sure what was going on there.

Was hoping Mason would get a shot at the 56 yarder in the 2nd half... Brad Jones made it onscreen a few times, looked a little bored.

Congrats to both, more rings for Buffs.

I'm pretty sure they had Mason kicking short and towards the corner of the goaline.

Agree, it looked like he was kicking them high so the coverage team had more time to get down field.

Would somebody with quick access to a media guide post a list of all the former Buffs who own Superbowl rings?

    Thanks in advance.

31 Buffs with 46 SB Rings among them have contributed to 22 Super Bowl championships with 11 different NFL franchises.

I wonder how all the former Buff superbowl winners compare to former players from other schools?

Does Jones still get a ring, being that he's on IR?

Can we leave that sort of speculation out of this thread, and just congratulate our Buffs?

It will only invite fans of other programs to come in here, make it about their school vs. our school and the icing on the cake will be when they explain that we're obsessed with them.

One has to wonder if Alex Henery was in the NFL and in a Super Bowl, would his kicks have been crisper than Mason Crosby's?

    (major sarcasm alert)

I don't know the reason, but the special teams coach at Green Bay has Mason Crosby vary his kickoffs in games. Sometimes he kicks long, sometimes popup to one side, sometimes squib, etc. It's been going on all season.

I don't particularly agree with it.

Is Crosby a Captain? Anybody else notice he was one of the 4 Packers in the middle for the coin toss?
