It was unfortunate we didnt' get another year of Koy as the starter.. Still pissed about the 96 game at Nebraska. Embarrassing that we couldn't score more than 4 FG's in that game..

Safe to say he was our last great QB. Klatt was never any better than what you would at least expect of a QB. Other than that it has been nothing but potential and coulda shouldas and the coach's son.

Perhaps that now Koy is involved in Texas high school coaching, he can open back up the Texas pipeline to Boulder.....wishful thinking, but who knows....

Congrats, KOY! I remember that TD dive he made against Wisconsin for the win and got knocked silly. He was trying to celebrate while shaking out the cobwebs. That guy was a baller!

Can't believe it took these fools down here THIS LONG to put Slingin' Sammy in the HOF. Wonder what their hang up was.

yeah, i thought that was pretty weird too. Great class for Koy, Baugh and Thomas Lott....one of the great pure wishbone QB's.

Does Dan Hawkins visit Koy and invite him to visit CU still? If CU's coach has a good relationship with former players then most likely... If not, then you get the MM scenario where the former QB sends his guys to other schools.

Great idea for a Texas recruiting pipeline! If that doesn't work, maybe he can come back here and coach the QB position?
