What would you have called instead of a run blitz into the gap the RB busted through? I'm curious what the right call would have been there.

Not going for a short gainer on 3rd and long wasn't very impressive, either.

I'm a fan of his, but Lewis has really hurt us against the run in the second half. I'm not even counting the plays that our overpowered D-line caused him to sift through garbage. A lot of running into initial iso blockers and not getting off, or leaning the wrong direction flat footed at the point of contact, etc.

On that run, there were 3 guys filling one gap on the ASU left side!!! The Defense is punch drunk and dead meat. Would be better to just let them score and try and get a TD and onside. Never felt more able to dominate a game from start to finish, and yet lost total control of the game somewhere.

Should have been looking at it as a 4 down situation on 3rd down and played it that way. It was obvious that the defense was done.
