CU Buff harriers run straight to NCAAs

Cross Country is taking care of business. The men & women punched their tickets to the NCAAs. Go Buffs!

Enjoy this part of the season when the training tapers off, stress fractures and shin splints get a chance to mend, and all those hundred mile weeks provide the foundation to build a peak performance.

I wouldn't think there are ringers on this team that might challeng for individual titles. The opportunity for the Buffs to succeed at nationals will be as a team, lead by Kipp/Coburn on the women's side and Medina/Wacker for the men. Getting a pair in the top 10 in either race will be key. Let's see some PRs in Indiana.

It's impressive Ammar Moussa is heading to nationals as a true frosh. It would have been nice to red shirt him. He's only going to get better with age.

I was hoping Van Halen would make it to regionals. It's been great seeing him carve out his own name.
