The question is which one of you is going to get blocked first when we lose to San Jose St?

I'm assuming you would be the first to get blocked if CU is relegated to the MWC. (just messing with you)
Both. The bubble goes on the artificial grass, which is being replaced.
That looks great...perhaps we can change our mind about having FieldTurf in Folsom Field? If that wasn't the case, why bother putting the school logo and conference logo on the practice field unless it was cheap to do so?
Replicate as much of a game day atmosphere as possible in practice. The logos and other field markings are all things that the players will see and deal with every saturday. Better get used to it and feel as comfortable in the stadium as you do in practice.
I am sure with some routes for WR's those type of field markings become useful
Makes a lot of sense while at the same time the playing surfaces are different from each other especially when it comes to WRs slipping on the grass field versus WRs keeping their footing and making the catch.
New Mexico is putting the fake grass in their stadium this summer. That means CU is the only school in the I-25 corridor that doesn't have the fake grass in the stadium for anyone who cares. It appears to me that older people like the grass while the younger people who are playing on the teams prefer the fake grass.
After those photos, I think it is only a matter of time before the fake grass is put into Folsom Field.

Field Turf is hot, hard, and those little black pellets are annoying. The grass at folsom is awesome, coming from a person who has marched on various fields both natural and fake, Folsom is easily my favorite field to be on. I understand the field turf is easier to maintain but I think grass looks and feels better than that bright green field turf
I walked on The Blue in Boise during a hot summer day and it wasn't so bad...I guess I wasn't wearing marching band uniforms.
What is interesting is that now only New Mexico State, BYU, and CU are the schools in the mountain time zone that have grass field in their stadium. Before that wave of switching over to turf, we had quite a few schools that still had grass such as UNM, AFA, CSU, and Wyoming. How that translates to recruiting is another matter.
We had astro turf way back but the players prefer grass. I know field turf is a long way from astro turf, but I would prefer natural turf. Its a lot more forgiving when you fall on it.
