    Wide receiver Nelson Spruce was named most valuable player of the Colorado football team this season at the team's senior banquet at Folsom Field on Sunday morning.

    Congrats to Nelson.

    One thing that kind of got overlooked the 2nd half of the season is that other teams kept a safety over the top of Nelson on most plays to keep him from beating them, which was a real key to the Buffs getting the run game going this season.
