Colorado Athletics is proud to present the inaugural “CU on the Links” golf tournament. This event is a new and exciting experience for University of Colorado supporters that is focused, first and foremost, on the student-athletes and their continued successes. The main focus of this event will be to create and endow a scholarship to help cover the costs of attendance for a CU student-athlete each year.
This tournament will be a great opportunity to golf and socialize with CU coaches and staff, as well as the student-athletes themselves. Various sponsorships are available with exciting incentives at all levels, including having athletic director Rick George, head football coach Mike MacIntyre and head basketball coach Tad Boyle as part of your foursome for the day. Each sponsorship opportunity combines the fun of a day on the golf course with an excellent marketing opportunity, all the while directly impacting the lives of Colorado’s student-athletes.
This year’s event and endowed scholarship created by the net proceeds, will be dedicated in memory of Buffalo supporter Fenton Bain. Fenton was an integral organizer of the Buff Club golf tournament for many years and a man with a big heart who loved the University of Colorado, his friends, community and most importantly, his family.
