CU Soccer Concludes Spring Season Unbeaten

LINCOLN, Neb. – The University of Colorado soccer team wrapped up the spring season here Saturday, tying former Big 12 rival Nebraska and defeating Nebraska Omaha to remain undefeated in 2014 play. The Buffaloes conclude the spring with a 6-0-2 record and are 19-1-3 in spring play under head coach Danny Sanchez.

CU first faced former conference foe Nebraska. The teams had not met since their final year in the Big 12 (CU left for the Pac-12 and NU left for the Big Ten after the 2010 season). Their regular season series was left in a 7-7-2 tie, and things would remain evenly matched in their 2014 meeting.
