Hmm, I work down on Pearl, and I saw the 'For Lease' sign up at earlier this week.

I always wanted to open a bar there, best patio in Boulder... off the creek there. I figured it failed to due to parking. If i had enough $$, i would buy the gas station next door, bulldoze and put a parking lot in. I think that would give it enough parking to jump start the bar.

I honestly never understood how that place could not just rake in money. It was always changing hands for some reason or another. With the demise of the lizard (la iguana's) it seems that that place would just HAVE to work. I wonder if the lease on that property is just astronomically high or something.

patio was awesome especially in spring. tubing down the creek we could occasionally catch a flying spring roll.
