Just booked my flight to JAX for the 9/27 game. Arrive ~4:30 on Friday; leave late Sunday afternoon.

    Who's going?

The Alumni association should be putting together a package for the game.

I'm still planning on going, although not for sure yet.

Are there plans to have an AB tailgater or get-together down there?

Yeah.... $220 from here, plus I'm going to the WVU game the week prior. I still am thinking about it. I dunno about it being in Jax, though. That kinda sucks.

$250 (including taxes) from DC. JAX may suck, but JAX with the Buffs ROCKS!!:slayer::gobuffs:

the FSU-Bama game in Jax last year was a 3:30 game. It is really dependent on our record as FSU will snack on a couple of 1aa cupcakes before our game...

The UF-UGA game "The world's Largest outdoor cocktail party" usually starts in the late afternoon/early evening in J-ville, so we will see what they do with it.

Regardless, I can't complain when the Buffs come to FL, I'd like to see them score a 2 for 1 with UCF. Texas came down to play in the knights' new stadium. Then I could realllllly roll out the FlaBuff party wagon...:smile2:

I plan on going in 2009. I'm currious to hear what I'm in for. Do I bring a rain coat for beer and piss bombs, or body armor?

I've also heard that the WV fans can be rude "unfriendly", but that may not apply to an out-of-conference opponent. Kind of like going down to play an SEC team.

A friend of mine went to Morgantown for a Virginia Tech/WVU game, so not a huge rivalry, but there is some bad blood. His wife, again WIFE, got punched in the face by some redneck drunk. Just be warned that WVU fans are classless.
