BOULDER - No. 22 Colorado knocked off its second consecutive top-10 opponent, defeating No. 9 UCLA 1-0 on Thursday afternoon at Prentup Field. The Buffs were coming off a 3-2 double-overtime victory at No. 10 California on Sunday.

Congrats to the team once again!

Note- In later action Thursday, Stanford cruised by Arizona (I believe something like 4-0) so they stay tied with the Buffs for 1st, but Utah did tie USC, who had been tied for 1st, so the Buffs have gone 2 points up on the Trojans, who now are in solo 2nd place. Of course, there's still 2 matches to go, so the Buffs could still finish I believe anywhere from 1st through 5th place depending on the results of all the Pac teams' final 2 matches.

UCLA had one of those shots that hit the crossbar, deflected straight down and hit the line but never crossed. Really close. Great win!
