BOULDER – In 2014 CU welcomed the NCAA Tournament to Boulder for the first time since back-to-back hosting duties in 2006 and 2007. The Buffs first round opponent were the BYU Cougars, but the Cougars weren't the only guests in Boulder, as mother nature decided to attend the game as well bringing with her a mid-November snow storm. And on Nov. 11, 2014 under several inches of snow and below freezing weather the Buffs defended their home pitch winning 2-0 to advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season. The match has been dubbed, "Snow Clasico 2."
