In another thread, the forever coming soon sports documentary about Sal Aunese and the Buffs championship run came up and I said I'd reconnect with the director/producer (I had reached out to them a few years ago).

Latest news is that it is 85% complete and they are planning a major announcement in October. They also suggested joining their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/salaunese

I gave up FB about 5 yrs ago so I can't speak for what's on there.

I do hope and believe this thing will come out soon and it could be great timing to coincide with our rise. I know a lot of the WB, EB types are in it so hopefully it could help bring the community back together. Maybe even get HCMM in there now would be cool.
 
Uh oh. We've heard that announcement about a major announcement crap before.

I wonder which will get done first: the movie, or the facilities? Unfortunately, I know it'll be the unheard of movie. Hopefully it's good.
