Is this sort of stuff really necessary?
yes, it is - without a certain number of idots, the rest of us couldn't feel superior
So given the recent news that he's had a nagging injury which has kept him off the field and now will miss games entirely the next 3 weeks, where is this thesis going?
Spare me your eye rolls.
It's no less valid than most of the crap spewed in here in the last few weeks. Apparently the sarcasm meters are off tonight.
I think most readily understood it as sarcasm. Whatever. The timing just makes it that much worse.
Okay, here's some sarcasm....
So DS knee is banged up and needs scoped, yet he is returning kickoffs? 2 weeks ago Hawk stated they were going to cut back on the kick returns with scott to save the wear and tear on his knee. Very next game he's back there fielding every kickoff. Was hawk being sarcastic?
Or could it be that the knee had gotten better with some rest and that he reaggravated it during the KU game?
It was a sarcastic slam at anyone that thinks that Scott can be a contributor. That makes it just stupid and uncalled for. JMHO
I think the night that the news breaks that Scott has been playing with a knee in need of repair is the PERFECT night to take shots at the idea that he's as good as Stewart.....
BTW, THAT was sarcasm..... :smile2:
No, it was a sarcastic slam at all the posters who've been complaining that the coaches don't know who can play, that Hawk never plays the most talented kids, just those who practice the hardest. You know, the ones who are sure that Simmons would be good for 2 TD catches a game if only the coaches would let him play.
That so many jumped down San Diego's throat indicates panties are bunching prior to Saturday's big game.
Dude...your dumb...enuf said.
