I think this has everything to do with why our Regents are meeting today. If the Big XII implodes, everything is going to start moving quickly. If, and I hope it's true, we have a Pac-10 invite, our Regents are going to take the vote tonight & be ready to move ASAP.
Things are starting come out.
I bet Dan Beebe is taking a long dump in the outhouse!
I think this is called the 'quickening'
Things are going faster and faster to something.
If this is true, the Big XII as we knew it is dead. We can only hope that reason and sanity prevails and we're in the Pac-10 lifeboat rather than Bailer. All signs point that way....
I have to say...and I'm sure I'm not alone...Im gonna miss those fuskers. Not really excited about a rivalry with any of the pac schools and sure as **** not the texas schools...who becomes our new pissbomb target?
I hate oregon. and texas. and fucla.
And ASU - it was too damn hot down there.
Ah yes, we have Skppy in our sights again. New piss bomb target? I believe that question has been answered.

agreed...the problem will be only playing them every few years with the proposed format for the pac16
So it begins...
I have room for lots of hate. I can learn to hate 15 teams...5 of which I already have a good start on. Pretty dang easy to hate anything Texass these days (and OU/OSU are as Texas as anything else at this point).
Guess it will be up to us to go out and create some problems for someone to get the rivalry ratcheted up.
I really want to hear tufftiger's take on the changes that are coming. I think the new big 10 might be as tuff as rain.
Yeah but now the trip to Tempe will be a conference game in October/November. Nothing like a long weekend of drinking and football when it is 80 out and it's November.
Can you guys slow down with all these threads? I can't keep up.
It will almost have to be Texas Tech. I don't have anything against them now, but your rival has to be in your division and the other 6 already have rivals established (UT/A&M, OU/OSU, AU/ASU).
I already have a family rivalry with Oregon, have for years.
Uh what invites? You cite ESPN Gameday reporting NU and Mizzou invites and then link a tiger message board. I know we are all looking for the first big scoop, but please link ESPN when creating a thread citing ESPN reporting anything.
SportsCenter just broke down Baylor vs. CU argument, had Ringo on over the phone and Jim Caple from Dallas. Ringo mentioned Regent meeting and stated that CU doesn't feel that they need to lobby like Baylor does. Nothing new, but it was the only thing discussed vis-a-vis expansion (no Big 10 news).
