Most on lamenation seem to be happy about the hire -- "At least it wasn't Kill". But most of them are worried about Larry Kerr coming back as DC.

They also think that this seals the deal that Matt Lubick will be the next coach after Fairchild.

Gonna be tough to recruit since he's staying with the Bills. If they make they playoffs then extend that.

He was OC and Kerr was DC during their strongest years (first 5 seasons) so this certainly looks like a good move for them.

It does make some sense, I assume the lammie faithful remember him, part of the "family" if you will -- rather than a total outsider, as if it really matters. I assume the brilliant AD is hoping this will calm down some of the boosters (Pat Stryker) in Ft. Fun.

On the surface, looks like a great hire for the rammies. They should be pumped. I bet they average around 35,000 fans per game even!

Larry Kerr is a great hire for them. The best D's CSU ever had were under Kerr.

I also like the Fairchild hire. I think they did about as well as they could have hoped.

I'm glad they are getting this put to rest... I was taking it easy on these bastards up here... you know, kinda like kicking a dog when its down, but now I can get back to fullcourt harassment

Hey, not to defend the lammies, but at least it will be a loss to a D-1 football team.:sad1:

I think it is a wonderful hire for the Lammies:thumbsup:. But if any dang fool thinks that it will not be spring board to a better job for him there crazy. I must add that if he fails there and I do not think he will. That school will be roasted for a good 15 years. The Sonny shadow is cast upon the Idiot nation of the Rams. They speak of him as a god and he has pretty much mailed it in over the last 5 years when it comes to coaching. Call me crazy but if Sonny really cared he would have stepped down or eased a transition guy about 4 years ago.
