I am guessing C-Unit will add Basketball to their brand. I believe this will be very good for the student section as a whole. Especially on the admin side.
What is Folsom Frenzy?
Long time coming. Two separate entities made zero sense and just made for a bunch of squabbling
My only fear is that it will lead to a further crack down by the AD on the basketball side, trying to make them more "Family Friendly"
I could be wrong but they seem pretty lenient on shenanigans at football games. Maybe when the demand for tickets goes up like it has for basketball and we are top 3 in the conference in attendance that will change but I doubt it for the next couple years.
I like the unification. But why be sport specific?
The ****eth I not giveth.
Looks like the soccer and volleyball groups are also part of the merger.
Not just Folsom Frenzy and C-Unit, but Buff Brigade (Soccer) and Gold Diggers (Volleyball) have now become C-Unit Affiliates.
I think this is a good thing. There will be growing pains, but having one student fan organization should increase efficiencies.
I don't know. Sounds like the standard company line when creating a monopoly.
great news. Instantly more ass' in seats at all CU sports venues
the teaser yesterday
Any jobs lost in the merger? I'm sure there will be plenty of economies of scale and synergies to be exploited.
The only one I wasn't crazy about was Folsom Frenzy, but I thought the others were solidly named and reflected the sports well. I don't see what woudl be so hard about maintaining different supporter groups for each sport.
Phew, that was probably the longest I've ever had to keep anything under wraps. It's been official for about four months.
I tried to get them to use the state of Colorado flag's "C", but apparently that's "Not part of the official branding." Well, neither is the old C-Unit C we're using in the new logo. Also, all the freshmen had Welcome Week shirts with a silver & gold Colorado flag C on them. Huh. At least they let me add "EST. 2004" and change the positioning of "UNIT" so it was more prominent.
well, you proved your point. From here on out, you spill the beans
I'm very proud of you.
Good. Now get those kids indoctrinated
The C looks like the C used for the C-Club and the letterman jackets. I get that from an AD branding standpoint
What was wrong with the Herd, like we had before. C-unit doesn't have a good ring to it.
The Alumni Association is "The Herd" so that name was unavailable.
When do merge with netturds and buffbackers?
Was there any effort to try to work with them?
Separate names with a comma.
