When Colorado fired Gary Barnett in 2005 and had to pay him roughly $4 million in a separation agreement, people in Boulder absolutely freaked out about that sum.

I don't think it is a 'furk' article at all.

I do think it is awesome that Ringo has us above WSU in his power rankings.... which might as well just be standings

ringo is an idot. Always has been, always will. He should have left when Nell Woelk hit the road. Pathetic.

The people that bitch about these amounts do not attend CU football games, they do not have any idea how major college athletics works, and most importantly should be the last opinions that the Admin and athletic departments care about when making decisions about the future of anything.

The problem with CU is they let people that would rather have athletics die and do nothing to support the university as a whole help frame the argument on how to salvage the disaster.

These are the people that think the PAC12 would still be giving CU $20 mil a season without sports and we should spend this money on arts and cultural programs.

Someone needs to tells them to go pound sand.

Haven't read it yet, but my initial fear is that the AD is setting the condition to retain Embree...

So hot on the heels of the article that inspired hope that the administration is still open to canning JE, Ringo drops this jewel betting that JE will return. Too much, man...
